Payment Policies
- You can pay directly in our office in cordobas or American dollars.
- Payments can be done in the office of Matagalpa tours in cordobas or in dollars, credit cards (credomatic, American express, master card, visa, jcb, diners club international) Observation: We do not accept traveler checks.
- It is possible to make a bank transaction from any country, but the student will have to bear the cost of the transfer, which is approximately $25 from the United States and $45 from Europe. We can do a bank transaction by email.
- Every student must pay 50% of the week upfront. We will give you a receipt at that time.
- At the end of the week, every student must pay 100% of the total amount owed.
In case of cancelation of classes the student:
- Has the option to reschedule or cancel the classes with notice in advance without any charge, only if the notice is done during the working hours of the EEM that ends at 6.00 pm of the day before of the programmed class.
- With no previous notice of non-attendance, the student will have top ay 50% of the total amount for the programmed classes of that day.
- Classes can be rescheduled. If is not possible to reschedule, the 50% remainder can be given back if it was paid before.
- In case the student wouldn’t have paid before, 50% of the programmed classes has to be paid.
- Observation: The Spanish School Matagalpa as a policy is compromised with the teachers to pay their work of preparation of classes even though the class was not given. The 50% charged goes to the teacher and administration expenses.
In case of cancellation of packages with home stay and activities:
For reservation through internet is important that the students take into account that once the reservation is done there are many administration expenses involved, because of that we ask the students to cancel reservations at least one week in advance.
