¿Are we expensive?
You must take into account the point of view from which you are evaluating our program to determine whether our rates are high. Thus far, all of our former students have said that they felt that the amount they paid for their program is equivalent to the quality of education they received. Several former students have stated that they thought the rates were low, while others have wanted a reduction in their rates or have simply opted to go to another school (both options are acceptable). Consequently, a realistic assessment of whether our costs are expensive depends on the point of view of the student and/or the experience that he or she has while at our school.
Are you getting what you paid for?
With the money that you pay for each class, you receive personal attention; professional, experienced instructors; comfortable, private, well-ventilated classrooms located in the central zone of the city; study materials devised by our teachers; music carefully chosen to match your lessons; and a schedule designed to meet your needs.
Why do we charge more than other Spanish schools?
We strongly maintain the belief, on account of which we maintain these “tariffs” that other Spanish schools may not charge, that our instructors should earn a salary according to their level of professional education. This, plus extra incentives, increases motivation in the teaching process, which enhances the student’s ability to learn.
We also believe that homestay families should receive fair payment for each person housed and that the family should not be compensated only for the economic costs incurred by having a new member in the family, but also by the addition of another person sharing their living space.
We think always of the students’ comfort and privacy, and of creating the best physical and environmental classroom conditions where our students receive private classes.
We strive to create our own study materials, developed by our own instructors, based on their experience and creativity.
Our goal is not to compete with other schools to offer the lowest prices around. Rather, we believe in a living wage for our teachers and in creating businesses that will improve our economic situation, not drain it.
Are our teaches well-paid?
Our teacher’s wages are superior in comparison to the basic wage that most workers here receive for a similar position, without taking into account that our instructors work less weekly hours than that stipulated by the Labor Act and what is customary in this country. This allows them to dedicate time and labor to their own personal and professional development.
